SOLIDWORKS help hardware startup founders turn their napkin sketches into physical products by giving them free access to SOLIDWORKS® 3D CAD and other world-class product development solutions. In addition to the software, the program offers free training and co-marketing resources to help hardware startups succeed.

The 3DEXPERIENCE Works for Startups Program provides new start-up companies the following benefits:
- 12-month accounts of 3DEXPERIENCE Works including SOLIDWORKS for CAD, simulation, visualization, and more
- MySolidWorks online training
- Co-marketing opportunities such as speaking at SOLIDWORKS events and promotion in SOLIDWORKS campaigns and social communities
- Design guidance from SOLIDWORKS engineers and technical managers
- Hundreds of white papers, videos, and feature articles with tips and tricks on taking your product to the next level.
Eligibility
The SOLIDWORKS for Startups Program is for early- to mid-stage hardware startups. Your company must meet the following acceptance criteria:
- Designing and building a physical product with an aim to sell it in the market
- Less than $1M in revenue
- Not more than 5 years old
The program is not open to current SOLIDWORKS customers, service providers, engineering/design firms, consultants and contract manufacturers. Your company's funding status, nature of business and product will be taken into consideration while evaluating your application.
If your revenue or funding is between $1M and $5M, we reserve the right to consider you as a Scale-Up and offer you a 70% discount on software.

- Approval: You will receive an email to confirm that your application has been received and is being reviewed. In the meantime, you’ll receive an email with a link join us in a conversation on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Here you can connect with the SOLIDWORKS Startup Program Team, as well as other hardware founders utilizing SOLIDWORKS.
- License Order: If your startup meets the eligibility criteria, you will be contacted by a local value-added partner who will support by completing the order for the no-cost software solutions that can best help to create your brand, product, and business
