SOLIDWORKS Inspection

Manufacturing precision is reflected in quality. Quality Assurance is managed by an organization’s quality department. A quality engineer uses gauges and drawings, tabulated reports, and other methods to inspect manufactured parts. Are you a quality engineer following ballooning in drawings and manual typing in excel or hand-writing in inspection reports? Are there a lot of components awaiting inspection and you are having trouble finishing on time? Then you have come to the right place!
Welcome to SolidWorks INSPECTION, a tool that simplifies the creation of Ballooned Drawing and Inspection Report through automation.
As an Add-in, this tool interacts with native SOLIDWORKS drawings in more automated manner allowing seamless integration with SolidWorks and easy updates. This standalone tool makes it possible for non-CAD users to extract data from PDF or TIFF drawings in order to produce quality inspection reports and ballooned inspection drawings.

SOLIDWORKS Inspection Features

Inspection Drawing determines what features need to be measured through balloons.
Inspection Report created from inspection drawing lists the details of what will be inspected. Once the part is measured, the measured values will be entered into this form.
Within the drawing document, an INSPECTION project records the project properties, extraction settings, tolerance settings, and inspection characteristic data in addition to gauges and manufacturing method data. Finally, it exports to MS Excel and two-dimensional PDF files. Entered values in the results column in the final Excel report turn green or red color displaying Pass/Fail status.
The powerful OCR engine (Optical Characteristic Recognition) in INSPECTION Standalone will transform the image of the selected text into an actual text value within the inspection project, reducing the need for manual input and reducing errors.

S SOLIDWORKS Inspection Standard

SOLIDWORKS Inspection Standard

SOLIDWORKS INSPECTION Standard with an embedded SolidWorks add-in and a standalone application creates inspection documents regardless of file type. SOLIDWORKS Inspection Standard is for designers, quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors who are responsible for creating industry-standard inspection documents.

P SOLIDWORKS Inspection Professional

SOLIDWORKS Inspection Professional
